WESCO Industries Hosts Successful Fundraiser At Donna Reed Theatre

Denison, IA (November 30, 2022) – On September 29th, WESCO Industries assisted in another fundraiser event in Denison, Iowa, at the Donna Reed Theatre. The benefit was a notable success, boasting talented musical entertainment and a unique dining event in an effort to help support vital community services.

Prior to Covid, the Donna Reed Foundation volunteers conducted an annual fundraiser to help generate funds for the maintenance and operation of the century-old iconic theater building.

This year, over 300 tickets were sold for Billy McGuigan’s “Beatles Yesterday and Today” concert show. While the 2022 fundraiser marks the fourth appearance by McGuigan, this was the first year for Cattlemen’s and Cocktails hosted by WESCO Industries.

Members of the Crawford County Cattlemen’s Association grilled hamburgers served with chips and pop. The Bake Shop served up cocktails for attendees. Around 160 people attended the dining portion of the fundraiser.

“We plan on doing Cattlemen’s and Cocktails at every large Donna Reed Theatre event because it was so well received,” said Sara Woerdehoff, WESCO Marketing Manager.

WESCO Industries would like to thank all of the volunteers, Donna Reed Theatre, Crawford County Cattlemen’s Association, Steven Brownmiller, and Billy McGuigan, for making it possible.
