Employment Services
Employment services are a combination of community employment and ongoing support. Individuals with disabilities are engaged in paid work in a local or area business while receiving intensive training and ongoing support from WESCO Employment Specialists.
Employment services work with Vocational rehabilitation to assist individuals in finding competitive community employment opportunities. Employment specialists provide career exploration, job shadowing, and workplace readiness assessments and also assist with the application and interview process.
Employment Services Employment specialists provide short and long-term job coaching support. The job specialist works closely with the businesses and assists with teaching and training the individuals in their jobs as well as ensuring that the job is a good fit and if any accommodations are needed for the individual to succeed in their community employment journey.
