The purpose of the Transitional Living Center (Stepping Stones) is to provide short-term (30-90 days) housing for an individual coming out of placement, homelessness, or hospitalization who needs to redevelop skills to be successful in the community. Additionally, Stepping Stones will assist members in securing Social Security benefits, employment, Medicaid services as well as any other medical or any desired services as well as assist in placement or relocation in the area they desire to live in.
Individuals who are living with mental health or disabilities will be paired with a variety of service providers to assist them in reaching their highest levels of independence with the focus of reintegrating into the community of their choice. Basic necessities are provided for those who may enter without them, room and board are provided as well as having house responsibilities assigned to all who live there.
