Program Coordinator - Day Habilitation

Hello, my name is Shawn Stewart and I am the Coordinator for our Day Habilitation Program, called The WAVE, here at WESCO Industries.  I have been with WESCO since May 2019.  I started out as an SCL staff helping clients that live on their own in the community.  I have been working in this field for the past 20 years serving in roles from being a client’s one-on-one staff, overseeing a 15 bed RCF home, running Day Hab, to overseeing the daily operations of our entire residential services.  My philosophy when it comes to working at WESCO and in this field in general is: Our people make me smile, laugh and just make my day better – I want to do the same for them in return.

My personal life is fairly nonexistent.  Besides being a hall of fame UNO and Skip Bo player, I am a: Netflix, Hulu and HBO aficionado.  The thing I love most of all is hanging out with the coolest person in the world- my daughter, Ashlyn.  Our favorite pastime is playing hours of any Super Mario game and watching way, way too much Nickelodeon.
