Janice Wilken

Program Coordinator- Supported Employment

Janice Wilken is the Community Based Services Director. She oversees all aspects of the Day Programs and their Coordinators at WESCO Industies. These programs consist of Supported Employment, Supported Community Living, Adult Day Service, and Day Habilitation. These programs are rapidly evolving with many great changes in service delivery in the future.

Before working at WESCO, Janice worked as a leisure assistant at New Hope Village in Carroll, IA. Here she worked with intensive care clientele, bringing them into the local community to enjoy lesiurely activities. Her heart and passion is to help and assist individuals to become as independent as possible, enjoying a long and successful life.

Janice and her family are sports fanatics. Janice is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoys going to football games at Kinneck Stadium in Iowa City with her family in the fall.  Janice’s husband is a high school girl’s basketball coach for AR-WE-VA school district where her son also enjoys participating in all sports. In her spare time, Janice and her husband co-own a restaurant/bar and she helps out as much as she can with the day to day operations.
