Sam Hottendorf

Supported Employment Program Coordinator

My name is Samantha Hottendorf. I have worked at Wesco since June 2016. I first started in the Supported employment department as an Employment Specialist. In August of 2018, I accepted the position of Supported Employment Assistant Manager. In October 2019, I was then given the opportunity to be the Program Coordinator of the Supported Employment department. I enjoy working with the individuals and seeing them grow in their employment and their independence.

I live in Manilla with my 21-year-old Daughter Skylar. We have 1 cat, “Boots” and reluctantly a dog “Mazie” (She is growing on me). In my free time, I enjoy going to BINGO and Trivia nights. Spring and Summer are my favorite seasons as I love going to the campground and sitting around the fire with friends. I conquered my biggest fear in 2023 and flew to California so I will be able to go on more vacations and hopefully fulfill the number one thing on my bucket list which is to visit all 50 states.

Seeing so many individuals succeed in life and being able to transition back into the community is the best part of my job. - WESCO Industries Employee
They can't tell you when you start this job there may come a time where you find you're more comfortable surrounded by people with developmental disabilities than when you are with the general population. But it happens. - WESCO Industries Employee
Until someone has had their own experience with someone with a developmental disability, they just won't understand. - WESCO Industries Employee
