Dr. Deidra Brown serves as the Chief Operating Officer for WESCO Industries, where she has been a dedicated member of the team since 2007 and has held the COO role since 2011. She brings nearly two decades of experience in organizational leadership, program development, and service excellence within the human services field.
Dr. Brown holds a Doctorate in Human Services with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational Management from Capella University, a Master’s Degree in Human Services from Bellevue University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Services from Buena Vista University. A lifelong learner, she is committed to continuous improvement and strives to make a meaningful impact on WESCO, its employees, and the people served.
Born and raised on a farm outside of Schleswig, Dr. Brown is a graduate of Denison High School and is proud to contribute to the community she has always called home. She and her husband, Nick, live on an acreage outside of Deloit with their four daughters—Kenzie, Cameron, Hailey, and Whitley. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her family and cheering on her girls in their many activities, including gymnastics, dance, and soccer.
