Clay Adams has been in the role of Executive Director for WESCO Industries since 2011. Before coming to WESCO, he spent 15 years operating businesses in Colorado in the for-profit world in both retail and franchise environments as well as wholesale on a national level selling to Cabela’s, Scheels, and Sportsman’s Warehouse. Clay has always had a passion for helping people and found a forever home with Wesco Industries.
Clay’s business experience has served Wesco well in the current nonprofit Mental Healthcare industry where he is actively involved in mental healthcare and integrating Wesco with the community. Clay currently sits on several local and regional boards and committees including the Iowa Regional Workforce Development Board, the Iowa Association of Community Providers Education and Training Committee, the Rolling Hills Mental Health Region Advisory Board, the Rolling Hills Regional Crisis Services Task Force, Denison Chamber and Development Council, and the Northwest Iowa Directors Roundtable.
Loving the country life, Clay and his three children live on an acreage outside of Denison where they enjoy hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
